If Anne Rice died, would that mean fanfiction on the Vampire Chronicles would be allowed?
For those who don’t know, she’s against the use of fanfiction with her characters. She harrassed fanfic writers to remove all of their fics off the internet.
If Anne Rice died, would this mean that fanfiction for VC would be acceptable again; or would legal action still be open?
i imagine it would depend on who had the rights to the stories after her death, and whether or not she put anything about it in her will.
