Seeking Kid’s Book: Giant Bugs in England?
I’m trying to track down a British kids’ book I read sometime in the late ’70s or early ’80s. My hazy recollection of the plot: some kind of chemical (e.g. herbicide, agricultural runoff) has caused bugs to grow to enormous size. I also seem to recall a giant bug killing a cow. This was a trade paperback; I’m thinking Avon, for some reason. Assistance in finding author/title would be most welcome.
