Settling In Your Child For The Evening
Taking the time to spend the evenings with your child doing homework is one thing but the time to settle in for the evening and just be together as a family is the best time ever. For a lot of families in the busy and modern world that we live in today, the evenings and weekends are precious time that is spent together.
The week days for most families where there are children are usually hectic. Mom and dad look forward to the weekend as much as the children do. You need to make sure to plan things to do with the kids, even if it is just playing in a bunch of play dough.
Cooking together is one of the best and favorite times for the kids. The kitchen is the heart of the home and when the kids get to jump and help to cook, they are never happier. If you have more than one child, especially one that is past toddler stage when you have a new baby, you are probably going to have a little helper. Although you may have to get over the hurdle of jealousy soon after the new baby comes home, you will most likely see a change that will warm your heart.
All children love to play in water, especially at bath time when they are supposed to be washing behind their ears. Older children seem to always want to help with giving the baby a bath. They seem to have as much fun playing with the baby toys as the baby does in the water. You will always want to be there in case of an accident and never let your older children get baby in and out of a baby bath tubs, just to be on the safe side.

Making special memories with your children is important because they grow up before you know it. You need to let things like work and stress go on those days when you want to spend precious time with your kids. This is one thing a parent will never regret doing.
