Ben Ames

What do you think of my introduction?
The Importance of Setting
The setting of the story has the ability to determine the mood. In ‘They grind exceedingly small’, Ben Ames William expresses the tone through his precise and detailed descriptions and by following the dialogues between his wide ranges of diverse characters. Three examples of such are portrayed in this heart wrenching tale.
It sounds good so far.
Just a few notes, firstly make sure the title of the source you’re using is capitalized so “They Grind Exceedingly Small”
Secondly, watch out about overusing the word and in one sentence. Try something more along the lines of “[..]tone through his precise, detailed descriptions and by following the[...]”
Lastly, I didn’t know if this was your whole intro or not, but if it is make sure you mention the three examples which are portrayed in the story.
Hope this helps.
