Blue Book
Is there a place online like a Kelly Blue Book where i can get a free price quote on a used manufactured home?

I have a 1980 Manufactured Home that I am trying to sell. I need to get an idea of what is a decent asking price? Does anyone know a site that would be able to give me a ballpark figure? I know that the auto industry has the Kelly Blue Book online for free so I was hoping for something along those lines. Thanks!

Your best bet is to check real estate listings in your area and see if you can find a similar home for sale. I think where you are must affect the value considerably, since I see people on here all the time saying that mobiles don’t hold their value. I’m in BC Canada. I have a 20 year old mobile. I just received my property assessment from the provincial assessment office, which gives the value of buildings on my land as $55,000. The mobile is most of that, since my outbuildings are basically sheds and not large. That tallies with what I’ve found in local real estate listings, which have been listing mobiles from the same manufacturer, roughly the same age and size, for $45-50,000. I have been told that current replacement value for my mobile is $85,000 delivered and installed, which suggests that it’s holding its value very well.
