Which Bible book has the most dialogue?
I’m not very familiar with the Bible but I’m looking for the book (old or new testament) with the most amount of dialogue?
The book of Job (old testament).
The setting of the conversations between God and Satan and between Job, his friends and God, is the second millennium B.C. Prologue is prose, main body is conversation and dialogue, and epilogue is prose. Much of the book takes the form of legal disputation. There are three cycles of dialogue – dispute (chapters 3-27); three monologues – Job’s (chapters 29-31); Elihu’s (chapters 32-27); God’s (chapters 38-42). Lots of dialogue!
