Does anyone know a guide to buying wholesale from China?
Websites, forum posts, books, firsthand advice…
I’m NOT looking to order cheap DVDs or decorative items to sell on eBay (no wholesale catalog websites).
So, nothing like this:

I’m interested in bulk ordering more useful things like Asian foods, raw or custom-carved jade, cell phone replacement batteries, and so on.
How do I order such things from Chinese exporters?
Where can I find them?
How do I contact them?
What do they expect of me when I contact them?
How do I protect myself against fraud?
What is typically the minimum dollar amount for a bulk order?
I’m looking for a complete guide to buying wholesale from China.
Well, the best advice I can give you is to attend Import & export Fairs in China. There are many each year in different places. There you will meet with representatives from various companies that do export business and you can see their products. It sounds like that you are new in this business, so it is important to meet with real people there to start building mutual trust. There are many reputable Chinese compnaies out there willing to do business. You can google them. Good luck.
