can a woman take a man to court for child support for a child that is now 22 when another man signed the BC?
my husband possibly had a child with a woman 22 yrs ago. This woman is now saying that she is going after support. She was married at the time she gave birth and her husband signed the BC. The child is now 22. Can she do that?
She could try to take him to court but whether she would win or not is another matter! For all practical matters, that child belongs to that 1st man, same as when a child is adopted. She cannot take that away from that man. It would not have even mattered if he didn’t sign the BC since they were married and she obviously named him.
If your husband believes that to be his child, w/ the child now an adult, is your husband trying to have a relationship w/ the boy/girl? I pray that he is. We can never have too many people loving us.
