Marvel Comics Bringing Entertainment to Generations

Many of us can think back and remember all of the things that we really loved and enjoyed as children. However, as we grow into adulthood many of these things tend to get lost and forgotten about. We have to eventually start dealing with adult issues and we learn to be responsible. But, many people will never stop enjoying the comic books that they once enjoyed as children. The Iron Man and the Hulk seem to be the types of characters that still spark our imagination. How can you not enjoy all of the wonderful characters that use to keep us entertained? You can’t and that is why many people still enjoy these books.

This company was actually called Timely Publications when it was first started. It was created by a man named Martin Goodman.

People all over the world bought the comic books and that is why they owe a hit. But, it is important to remember that they would not have gone anywhere if they did not have a story. Some of the notable names among the creators include Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko.

The first hero that the company made was the Human Torch and many people probably remember him. It was a runaway hit. Then Captain America came along. It also earned the company a circulation of almost a million.

There were so many different characters over the years that many of them may not even be remembered but in their time they were all successful and they made the company a lot of money. The advertising teams and other creative individuals that worked on these comic books all had a role in the success.

If you take some time to think about all of the characters that you once loved you will be able to see that they have continued to grow in popularity. Many of them have actually been made into movies that we watch in the theaters now.

Headquartered in New York, Marvel comics extend to other media like, television, theme park and video games. For most of its life, DC comics remained its main rival. The major blow received by Marvel was in 1992 when seven of its prized artists left Marvel together to form the successful Image Comics. But, that happens to the best of us sometimes and it is to be expected.

The album feels even more like a collection of singles (instead of an actual movie soundtrack) than Help! or A Hard Day’s Night, but maybe that’s because every song sounds like it could have been a hit single–with the natural exception of the goofy/weird instrumental “Flying.” Even George’s “Blue Jay Way” paints a vivid sound-portrait in fascinating detail. (I consider Joni Mitchell’s “Car on the…
