Best Translation of “The Gallic War” by Julius Caesar?
I am looking for the clearest translation of this political autobiography. I would hope to find one with both Latin and English. When I look on eBay or abebooks, i find more than a dozen different publishers and versions (each with its own translation) Can you advise me on some current standards? Will any of them have a Latin word usage inside? I am interested in the Latin as it was written. I think an Easton or Heritage Press would be best, but I do not want to be focused on fancy packaging.
