Any ideas for a horror short story in the style of Edgar Allan Poe?
I need to write a short horror story in the style of Edgar Allan Poe but i have no ideas of how to start it.
Please give me an idea of a theme/ what happens.
Edgar Allan Poe style:
1. Unstable Narrator
2. Has done a terrible deed (Murder) and thinks is is justified because of something that bothered him about this one or more persons.
3. The deed he has done is extremely twisted.
I think I would place a story similar to “The Telltale Heart” in the present, maybe by weaving it as a story about internet dating.
