i own a semi dual tandem tractor with all insurance and authorities. how or where should i look for work.?
self driven. 30yrs. experience. no tickets or accidents. equip. in excellent cond. excellent health. need leads.
i have a 53 ft. refer unit as well. but am very interested in hauling containers. i live in myrtle beach s.c. my truck is licienced for 80k lbs in 48 states
Where do you live for starters? That would help immensely with employment suggestions! As well what type of trailer besides dual tandem….reefer, dry van, furniture hauler, flat deck, end dump, belly dump, side dump…..depending on the trailer it would depend on the work as well.
Approach local companies see if they are looking forr O/O’s, check local job banks online, phone the larger companies(Interstate, Schneider, Werner, Swift, JB Hunt, etc)
Have you checked all the online trucking resources? here are a few for you to look at.
EDIT: If you want to run reefer look into the companies that haul out of the lower Calif, Lower Ariz areas, they pick up in say Nogales, Mexicali, etc ( I can’t think of them at the moment but when I do I will edit again)
I know sometimes Kijiji has job postings for OTR (but you have to do a lot of searching for them)
