First Editio
Where can I find information about first printed editions of classical books?
I am interested in the dates when literature that used to exist only in manuscript form was first published in printed form. I found this article on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Editio_princeps
However, there are many works that are not on the list, especially medieval legends like the Robin Hood stories, the Prose Edda, the Poetic Edda and the Koran. Does anyone know where I can find an even bigger list of “editiones principes” either on the internet or in some book?
