Boston Celtics 2008 will win best of 7 series vs. Boston Celtics 1985. We may say that the Big 3 of the 80′s won championships but the level of play from the 80′s is different from now. Basketball evolves every year, from Wilt Chamberlain’s years, to Dr. J, Magic and Birds rivalry, to Jordan’s era, and the post Jordan basketball. The game before was way too different from now, the players before used the fundamentals of basketball – basic passing, shooting, rebounding and defense. Compared to the level of basketball right now, it has evolved and many different plays was invented and created. Basically, basketball right now is showtime basketball, basic basketball for the current players are too boring for them. Of course, every season every style and plays that the team are using improves. Doc Rivers may have an idea how Bill Fitch coach basketball, he can just try to improve it and use it on a much better play with players who is faster, quicker and can jump higher.
