Full Color
How do I make part of a B&W photo full color?
I have seen B&W photos where certain items are in full color; such as a person in a hat holding an apple. The hat and the apple are brilliant red, but the rest of the photo is B&W. Can you tell me how to do that in Photo shop or direct me to a site that has that information? Thanks!!!
sure, there’s a lot of different ways to do this, easiest way would be to use Photoshop. first use the lasso selection tool i personally like to use the pen tool then convert the path to a selection, but this is a bit easier for beginners. there are three different lasso tools, the magnetic, the freehand, and the polygonal. polygonal is what i like to use, its very edgy, but if you click a lot then you wont notice any edges. then go to the SELECT menu and select INVERSE. then go to IMAGE>ADJUSTMENTS and select DESATURATE. that is the basics of it, if you would like a more in depth tutorial, there are TONS of free tutorials online, just go google.
