Harold Bell

Read and improve? pleeeaaassee?
A bell rang in the distance, announcing the start of another tedious day at school. I knew I should make my way towards St Harold’s High, but still I stood, motionless, failing to tear my eyes away from the flickering image before me. Flames danced in the gentle summer breeze, licking at the blackened tree trunks and leaving a trail of debris in its wake.
“It’s so beautiful.” I found myself whispering, reaching out to caress the charred vegetation; the fire hot on my fingertips, marring my previously unblemished skin.
This was very short, but I found no grammar errors, or et cetera.
This is a nice paragraph, but I can’t really judge or fix from this much.
Nice job.
