Harvard Classics

i just bought a set of harvard classics ?
how can i tell when they were printed the only date is 1909
it was printed by pf collier and sons in new york i would think there pretty old but want to know what to look for to be sure
I work for a used book dealer. Typically the most recent date listed on the Copyright page is when they were published. If that date is 1909 then I’d say that’s when they were published. There’s a listing for them on Amazon.com (link below). I’m not sure if they’re exactly what you got but check it out and see. If you’re still in doubt bring a volume or two into a used/antique book dealer in your area and they’ll be able to tell you for sure. Best wishes.
