Name of Book-Indian Massacre 1800′s; Pregnant woman kidnapped, baby killed as enfant. She escapes later.?
Book found in about 1972, excellent, but can’t find now. Not Winding River or Stolen Heritage. Many books I’ve researched are no longer in print. The book I read was a hardback from the library.The woman had other children killed during the massacre. The indians put enfant on log in river to test it’s bravery. True story.
