What question should I ask my grandfather about his life?
I want to interview my (Jewish) grandfather about his life. He was born in Germany, in about 1930. He hid from the Nazis for a few years, and eventually came to America. He went to a Yeshiva for high school, and eventually joined the business his father founded.
Any ideas for good questions to ask?
Anything you regret not having asked an older relative?

ask about his parents… what were they like?
ask about what they talked about, how they entertained themselves, what he was interested in, where they lived, anything and everything…
I regret not asking about my granny’s memories of her family. of course i was 14, so i never thought about it.
