Facts About The Dec 21 2012 Polar Shift
There has been a lot of talks, speculations, predictions, and fear among the people of different races about the Dec 21 2012 polar shift, especially those who understand this event the way on the basic level. As a result, several religious fanatics and sects begin to associate this date to the end of the world. And after the 2012 movie had been shown, the interest and the intensity of fear just grew even more. What will really happen on Dec 12 2012? {Why is it so important}?
The general public understands that there will be cataclysmic events happening on Dec 21, 2012, from earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and other major natural catastrophes as a direct result of geomagnetic reversal. This begs the question: What exactly is a geometric reversal?
The geometric reversal that is expected to happen in 2012 is a phenomenon wherein there will be a change in the earth’s magnetic field. This is not a unique occurrence as the last time it happened was about 780,000 years ago. {In other words, the location of north pole and the south pole will no longer be the ones we know today}. The scientific community, however, believes that the geometric reversal happens every 300,000 years, meaning we are long overdue.
What is the foundation of the Dec 21 2012 polar shift?
Because different people from all walks of life have interpreted this event differently, and oftentimes to absurd, it is now hard to know now which ones to believe. {Some said that the polar shift was predicted by the Mayans; others said that it was Nostradamus; while some believed that the bible was the source}.
The fact is, the Mayans never mentioned a polar shift in 2012. They just said that it will be the end of time and a new age will begin. By definition, “end of time” means end of the world, but to the Mayans, it was only a cycle—a calendar, a measure of time. Known for the accuracy of their calendar, the Mayans knew that the earth enters a new cycle every 25,625 years or equivalent to one galactic day—the period where the earth has revolved around the galaxy.
In Nostradamus’s lost book, there were reasons to believe that the drawing about the alignment of the sun, earth and the center of the galaxy will occur in the future, specifically in 2012.
There were also different people and civilizations that foretold a significantly important claim about the polar shift—Albert Einstein, the Sumerians, the Egyptians, Nicolas Copernicus, and others.
Either way, no matter how people interpret predictions and no matter how hard we believe in different interpretations that will said to happen in a couple of years, what will happen before, on or after the Dec 21 2012 polar shift is still unknown. We just have to hope for the best and be prepared on the things that may happen.
