John Hopkins Signs With Kawasaki For 2008
by dean adams
Tuesday, July 10, 2007

American John Hopkins has reportedly signed a letter of intent with Kawasaki’s MotoGP team for 2008. Hopkins had once professed that he wanted to spend his entire career with Suzuki–ala Kevin Schwantz–but that sentiment has seemingly passed.

ENDS”

This is a shock to the system! Might have to rethink that list I made the other day now.

Do you think this will be a good move? I dont. The Suzuki is really starting to shift now, the Kwack is still …… a bit of a duck. ( yes I know it got front row last time out, but still no good in the race)

Your thoughts?

hopper is a definite talent. His has ridden the suzook so far over the edge he has hurt himself countless times. The kawi is a fast bike and with hopper on it things may look up for him and kawi. Just look what rossi did for the yami. But I will remind you that Mr. Stoner will hold the title this year

Two decades years after Live Aid addressed the issue, lethally oppressive poverty in Africa remains a blight on the planet. Thus, in the Summer of 2005 activist Bob Geldof staged an even more ambitious series of continent-spanning concerts dedicated to raising funds and public consciousness about international debt relief. This expansive four-disc chronicles those shows in one of the most ambitio…

Director Frank Capra (Mr. Smith Goes to Washington) took home every Oscar in the book (well, okay, all the major ones) for this seminal 1934 comedy starring Clark Gable as a hard-bitten reporter who stays close to a runaway heiress (Claudette Colbert) rather than lose a good story. Funny and sexy, the film is full of memorable scenes often referred to in other films, such as the “walls of Jericho”…

Director Joe Johnston has always had an entertaining sense of adventure, and with Hidalgo he proves it in spades. It’s yet another underrated film for Johnston (along with such enjoyable popcorn flicks as The Rocketeer and Jurassic Park III), dismissed by many critics but a welcome treat for anyone drawn to good ol’-fashioned movie excitement. In his first role since playing Aragorn in the Lord of…

This is a book for dedicated academics who consider spending years masochistically overworked and underappreciated as a laudable goal. They lead the lives of the impoverished, grade the exams of whiny undergrads, and spend lonely nights in the library or laboratory pursuing a transcendent truth that only six or seven people will ever care about. These suffering, unshaven sad sacks are grad student…
