What exactly happens in ISS (In School Suspension)?
Okay, I skipped advisory today (it’s only 22 minutes, you just sit there and read or the teacher just makes miscellaneous announcements) to go to a different lunch period. I’ve been doing it for awhile, but today I got ratted. Someone from my advisory was sent to that lunch period so I could come back. I began walking back, but got scared and stayed in the bathroom for the remaining 2 minutes left of advisory. i was called down to the office after my lunch period was over, and I was issued ISS, social probation (can’t go to assemblies, and can’t go on end of the year field trips) which i think is a bit too harsh, but that’s what I get, huh?
What exactly happens, I’m on honor roll and I’ve never gotten in this much trouble before. I’m 13, adn in 7th grade. It’s for tomorrow, since we have spring break all of next week. I when I ditched advisory, I didn’t EAT, I just talked to my friends in that lunch. I ate in my lunch period.
I’m not sure how it is in other schools, but in my school, its a really big room with only a few desks. Nothing happens. You just sit in there and do nothing. Sometimes you have to do work, but I didn’t have to.
It’s boring and usually the teacher is really really mean :3
