Did you see John Henry smiling at his Blackberry when they announced A-Rod’s opt out?
Do you think he wants to sign him(he’s got the cash).Would they move A-Rod to shortstop and keep Lowell and send Lugo packing…the Sox would OWN baseball then and the Yankees would be crying a river from NYC to Beantown!
He was smiling because he knew that the YANKEES are doomed!
Thos guys who own the RED SOX have NO interest in A-rod. They wanted to run the price up for the Yanks. It is widely known that A-Rod is not liked at all in the RED SOX clubhouse for the things he’s said in the media and in private as well as things he’s done. He would be a cancer in the clubhouse and everyone knows it.
He’ll end up in the NL & Henry knows it!
