What is a difference and similarity between julius caesar and antigone?

Both plays focus on a tragic protagonist (Brutus, Antigone) whose conscience and sense of propriety puts them in conflict with the laws and edicts of the world in which they live. What differs is that while an Athenian audience would have seen Antigone’s action of burying her brother as meshing with a greater religious propriety, an Elizabethan audience under the English monarchy would understand Brutus’ participation in regicide as treasonous and worthy of spiritual damnation
