Lancaster Pennsylvania
If you have been to the Strasburg, Lancaster or Hershey Pennsylvania area what did you think of each?
I have been in this area of Pennsylvania several times with my son and thought it was one of the more beautiful and serene and relaxed areas of the country. Especially Amish country. Hershey has a really neat and fun Adventure Park featuring Go-Carts which were our favorite and we raced them often. We had such fun racing each other. Great memories were had in each of these fine towns by us. I can go on and on but mainly just wanted to get your thoughts and memories of the area just for fun. Thank You!
Yeah, I have been to Lancaster several times and I always think it is so interesting to see and learn about the Amish lifestyle. I love going on the house tours. It amazes me how differently they live yet appreciate what they have in comparison to a lot of the population who has everything at their fingertips yet constantly wants more and more. It’s definitely a nice place to go if you want a calm, relaxing vacation without all the craziness of places like disney or nyc.
Yeah, Hershey is really cool too for like a weekend visit. It’s a fun theme park and I loved going through the Hershey factory and getting to sample the chocolate!! Good rides too and the lines weren’t insane!
I think both places are fun to visit….I don’t think I would want to live in that area though. I will have to check out Strasburg…I never heard of it!
