Leather Cover
How can I customize a leather journal cover?
I want to add my own design and phrase to a leather journal, and do it myself. But I can’t find any information on using a dremel to do it, like how it will look and what-not. And what about burning? Like using a soldering tool? I basically want to free-hand my design onto it. What’s the best way to design the leather? And no I really don’t want to use stamping…
I wouldn’t use a dremel on leather, I think it would catch & not look good. You can also check local hobby/craft stores like Michael’s & JoAnn Fabrics they have sections of tooling supplies.
Also, if this wasn’t any help, try re-asking this in the Hobbies & Crafts category (under games & recreation section I think) instead of in visual arts, its more of a craft question then fine arts.
