Leather Like
How can I clean my leather flip flops that smell like mildew?
I walked in lots of water over the past week and now they smell like mildew. The top is leather and the bottom is rubber. Even though they are just flip flops, they’re still quite expensive and I don’t want to ruin them. Any suggestions?
I would spray them with vinegar, set out in sun to dry through & through, then put them in the freezer for a day or so–
freezing is the ONLY way to kill mildew (well, unless you want to use Borax or bleach or chemicals).
