Can anyone explain what “life signs” by Norman greendale is about?
What is the relationship between Dena and Don? Is she a dream or what?
Its a sequel to “Soul Figure”, near the end Don and Dena were in a car crash (Don was driving drunk).
He couldn’t come to grips with Dena dying, so in “Life Signs” she is only in Don’s drunken stupor dreamlike state when he’s trying to write his book. She’s his muse of sorts
