Linen Book
What’s the name of the painting /artist (20th c?) where the man and woman’s heads are shrouded and kissing?
Yeah, both heads are individually covered with a off white linen bag perhaps. It’s haunting to say the least.
The painting is also featured on the cover of a novel by a Chilean author. I saw the book cover yesterday, but I don’t remember the name of either the author or the book. Talk about a lack of memory. Thanks for the help.
It’s called “Two Lovers 2″ by René Magritte. There is another painting called “Two Lovers 1″ that is similar, but the shrouded heads are not in a kissing pose.
