Reasons why you’d love a band?
What are some reasons why you love a certain band? I’m trying to win a contest and I’m completely stuck on what to write. Any help would be great, 10 points best answer!
I love my favorite band because they have an original style and fantastic, meaningful lyrics that appeal to me on a lot of different levels. The vocalist has a very distinctive voice that grows on you, and you can sense the raw emotion through it (but it isn’t whiny at all). Their songs can be both fun and profound, and simple yet complex. I saw them live once, and they’re more than musicians– they’re performers. I was totally captivated the entire time just watching them, let alone listening to the incredible sound. They aren’t at all studio-enhanced either, they sounded exactly the same, if not better, live. And I know it’s extremely hipster of me, but I kind of like that they are a little underground because it means they stay true to themselves.
So basically: originality and lyrics are extremely important, as well as enticing vocals and good live performance.
