Maps Usgs
Who supplies the U.S. Military with international maps?
Obviously, the US Geological Survey furnishes the military with maps of the United States, but the USGS website has no maps available for areas in Europe, for example. This makes me wonder where the Army gets their maps for foreign areas.
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency seems like the correct answer, but I’ve personally seen collaboration of the USGS and US Army on paper. They definitely provided the military with maps at one point.
