what goes with mash potatoes other then sausage?

Meatloaf, gravy, pork (roast or chops), beef (steak or roast), lamb (chops or roasted), chicken (grilled or baked or fried or roasted) and turkey.
Mashed potatoes go with almost all meats – especially if you have gravy!
It goes well with veggies too. It just doesn’t really go with pasta, noodles or rice since they’re also starches.
