Mother Goose
Are there any fables, fairy tales, or mother goose stories that tell a story about 2 towns?
I want to write a parody on a popular children’s story. It needs to have two towns/cities in it.
I can’t think of one. The has got to be a fairytale though, because knights are big in fairytales. There was a reason to have nights around. Not much help…sorry! What about in Sleeping Beauty, how she is taken out of the town and deep into the woods to live? Does that count? There is also East of the Sun, West of the Moon…she goes on a long journey, through many places (in the version I read). Alice in Wonderland? She enters a whole knew world.
