Why is God perceived differently in the Old Testament compared with the New Testament?
i was just wondering why is it God seems so angry and punishing in the old testament and then in the new testament he seems so peaceful? did God change? how can he change?
The collection of writings that make up the Old Testament and New Testament were written hundreds of years apart, by very different people, for very different audiences and very different purposes. Stands to reason there would be some differences between them.
