Laureate’s speech is interrupted each minute by a little girl. All signs of carnival are reflected in this ceremony. Even the founder of this award is the staff of a scientific humor magazine Annals of Improbable Research. This is the real show, no doubts. Humanity protects from absurd with the help of absurd. We are afraid of being laughed at, so we laugh beforehand. It is healthy and useful and helps to turn scientific attempts to the practical usage. And it gives a great opportunity for the whole country and ordinary people to touch scientific world with an understanding, wide, pleasant and open smile. It is really absurd when they investigate such problems: whether it is better to smash over the head with a full bottle of beer or with an empty one.
