Why is South Carolina alot more conservative than its counterpart North Carolina?
North Carolina is considered to be the most liberal state in the South along with Virginia. However, South Carolina is one of the most conservative states. Maybe not as conservative as Texas, Mississippi, Lousiana, and Alabamai but alot more conservative than Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas.
Because North Carolina is more educated and has the research triangle of Duke, UNC, and NC state.
