Old Farmers
what would a seven year old farmer girl/boy act like (for my book)?
In my book, her name is Ria. She is abandoned by her mother and taken in by a farmer and his wife. She is only seven years old. So, I have no idea what responsibilities she would have to do or what a seven year old is like.
Also, her best friend is Jeremy. He’s seven years old too. He lives on a crop farm and his parents sell seeds to fellow neighbors. What would he have to do around the farm?
Any answers at all would help!
Chores would more than likely be to collect and wash the chicken eggs. Picking up sticks in the lawn before someone has to mow the grass and feeding the animals. That’s what I had to do growing up at that age. Besides helping around the house.
She’d probably play outside a lot more than watching TV, using her imagination to create different worlds. She’d also more than likely be a very dirty girl who’d need a bath everynight. Lol.
