Old Vintage
How old does something have to be to be vintage?
I have a 1993 Jackson Stealth HX that ain’t much in value($600)(estimated) but i know if something is vintage or old and in good condition, its more. I plan on buying more guitars in the future but very soon.
A “vintage” guitar is considered to be one from the 1930′s through the 1970′s. Anything older than that would be “antique”.
Its not just the age and condition of an instrument that determines its value, but also its relative rarity and desirability to musicians and to collectors. If Jackson has been making the Stealth HX for the last 15 years or so in sufficient quantity to meet demand, then a 15-year-old used one will likely be worth less than a new one.
