I finished my first “Tim O’Brien novel” yesterday. I like how he illuminated the atmosphere of war-torn Vietnam. But I like Good Scent from a Strange Mountain and enjoy some of Stephen Hunter’s work.

i say Tim O’Brien because i haven’t read the others before but i loved ‘the Things they Carried’ so much.
