Do you think the dissidents turned over to Chinese authorities by yahoo get beaten and tortured?
“We already knew that Yahoo! collaborates enthusiastically with the Chinese regime in questions of censorship, and now we know it is a Chinese police informant as well,” Reporters Without Borders said in a statement.

is yahoo Champion of repression?
must be.
Because they perform their duties to the Chinese Sceurity apparatus so eagerly.
They should get a medal.
in your second link it states that the guy got tortured.
I think its bullshit yahoo just shrugs its shoulders at an issue like this saying ‘we haveto’. No, they do it because they want more money. They paid 1 billion dollars for a spot in the market. So, they paid money to screw that guy. In the hope they will make it back and more, in the long run.
If it bothers someone enough they will put together a big deal, and boycott. Demanding that yahoo, and every other american based internet company pull out of china.
I would stop using Yahoo if everyone else would. But that will never happen.
