This is what Peter Hitchens called him anyway. I think it’s an epithet to be proud of!
Knight Moves: you’ll just have to read the His Dark Materials trilogy. The first book has been made into a (somewhat watered down) film, called the Golden Compass, which comes out this week. I haven’t seen the film, and await it with trepidation, but I strongly recommend the books.
