Poems Signed
I have a painting that is signed “Ryder-Smith”. Does anyone know anything about this artist?
On the back of the painting there is a Native American poem signed “R-S”.
T. Ryder-Smith is an actor who may also be an amateur painter. This is not saying he’s not a fine artist or a good painter. It just means he makes his living as an actor: both film and stage. And if he wrote the poem on the back of the canvas then he’s also somewhat of a writer.
Try doing a search in Yahoo (not Google) and they will give you information about him. I did not find any other listing for anyone listed on-line of note with the last name a hyphenated Ryder-Smith.

You could contact his agency and ask if he is also an artist who paints.
