The return of “Hova” Jay-Z.?
Yes, Jay-Z has returned to rap. Anyone besides me excited? What do u think of his new single “Show Me What You Got”? And something I have been wondering for a long time..”Hov”..i know that he calls himself that as part of his massive ego, and it’s another name for “god”, but i heard it is a Hebrew word for “god”. Im Jewish and all, but i never heard of that before, and i dont think he is Jewish..i mean nothing towards blacks or anything, but i think black Jews are rare and I dont think Carter is a Jewish last name..which is his last name.

You are right. I am excited, too. I like his new video and song “Show Me What You Got”. I think that the song and the video are great. Now, as for the “HOV”, I really do not know what that means. Maybe that is a variation or it is derived from a word-whether it is from Hebrew or not. I am African American, so, in your statement, I know you have nothing against us. As for black Jews, there are quite a bit of them out there (New York City has plenty) and Carter may or may not be a Jewish last name (my last name is Lewis and the comedian, Richard Lewis, is Jewish, so, go figure). Anyway, I think that the word is either a variation of words or it is derived from one word, just made it that way because he wants to be different.
