Is the UK Health Institute Ltd a legitimate business?
I received an email from the UK Health Institute Ltd. They claim to be the industry leader in the supply of hybrid, plastic and metal cases with 510(k) clearance of Standard generic cases. UK Health Institute Ltd also claims to set the global standards and raising customer expectations of orthopedic excellence. They are asking for a contract to be signed for our cooperation in cashing checks in the US and then wiring the funds to another country using our personal bank accounts. For assisting them in this task, the person cashing the checks will take 10% of each check prior to sending it. It seems simple/good to be true. The company does not communicate via phone and is basically insistant on the individuals in the US use their personal or business bank accounts. If there is any way to validate the company and have someone or something to hold accountable I would like to know about it. Thank you.
Avoid! This sounds like one of the many scams perpetuated by email these days, similar to the Nigerian banking scams where they ask you to send them some money and you recieve 10 times as much back.
This may be kosher, but I`d seriously recommending avoiding any company that asks for your bank account details and offers you the chance to make easy money.
At best you may get into trouble for helping laundering money, at worst you could have your bank account emptied and maybe your identity stolen.
