Signet Paperback

How should I go about collecting Stephen King books?
I kind’ve want to start own Stephen King collection.
I currently have Scribner paperbacks of Everything’s Eventual and Carrie. I also have the Signet editions of The Stand, IT, and Eyes of the Dragon also in paperback.
I know first editions for the earlier books are extremely pricey and generally pretty hard to find. So I’m hesitant about going that far. But I want to know how far back I should go for first editions. And if I’m just collecting paperbacks, what publishers? The Dark Tower for instance I wouldn’t know how to collect because the first 4 books have been published in Signet as paperbacks but discontinued afterwards.
try alibris.com you can get used books REALLY CHEAP
