Going to out of state college, what do I do with my driver’s license and a license plate?
I am going to a out of state college in Philadelphia and bringing my father’s car with insurance under my name. I am planning to work part-time or practice home-based business while attending college. What should I do with my driver’s license and the plate? If I keep my current license and plate, will there be any problems working or doing business in Philadelphia?
As a college student you are considered a non resident of the state of PA and can still use your out of state license and plate. If you decide to establish permanent residency in PA then you will have 20 days to register your vehicle in PA.
