Why does Jesus tell his mother “My hour has not yet come?” in the story of the water into wine?
John 2:1-11 – in the story, Mary is concerned because the wine has ran out. And Jesus says,
“Woman, what concern is that to you and to me? My hour has not yet come.”
What does the fact that Jesus’ hour had not yet come have anything to do with the wine situation?
Because Judas wasn’t invited, so he couldn’t kiss him — and to have his “last supper” at someone’s wedding would have been socially irresponsible
