Should Christians only read Christian books?
I’m a Christian myself, and i was wondering about this. I’ve read many Christian and non christian books but I’m curious about this. I’m having trouble finding Christian novels for teens that I would enjoy seeing as I’ve already read a lot of them. Also if you have any books to suggest for me (christian teen) I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Please be serious, i would appreciate answers from another Christian’s perspective.
the Left Behind series is awesome. My favorite bio is “Rachel’s Tears: the Journey of Columbine Martyr, Rachel Scott. Great book! Ask God to help you be wise about the entertainment you indulge to (and not just books, but all forms of entertainment). Do some of the lyrics, images, stories attack God or the Christian faith, or even exalt Satan? Do some promote immorality or other forms of behavior that displease God? Let the psalmist’s commitment be yours: “I will have nothing to do with evil” (Psalm 101:4).
