How many American Idol contestants have you helped become successful by buying their music?
I got to thinking about this today as I was listening to my IPOD at work. I realized how many songs I had heard today were by one of the former contestants. I own CD’s by several former American Idol contestants and I also have purchased singles for my IPOD by several others.
I currently have a CD or a single by the following contestants or winners:
Kelly Clarkson
Carrie Underwood
Clay Aiken
Chris Daughtry
Josh Gracin
Katherine McPhee
Elliott Yamin
Kimberly Caldwell
There are still others who have put out songs that I have liked such as Kelli Pickler, but I don’t currently own any of their music. There are also some that I have no interest in such as Taylor Hicks. I will definitely be interested in hearing what either of the new Davids release. More than likely they will be added to my collection of American Idol music. I think they are both great.
For you country music fans, Josh Gracin has a new single out that is great. It’s called “We Weren’t Crazy”.
