Eat All Night Long Whilst Playing Online Poker Games

People often associate Las Vegas with over indulgence and excess and certainly their point seemed to come true with the story about Joey Chestnut! This eating machine made the Vegas headlines when he took part in the first ever Martorano’s Masters Meatball Eating Competition. Yes you are correct, that was a meatball eating contest! Steve Martorano, the restaurant owner came up with the idea and explained that he was undecided on whether to have a cheese steak eating competition or a meatball eating competition. They have had really good reports about their meatballs. Gourmet magazine said that they had the best meatballs in the world during 2007.

Joey Chestnut’s efforts have even managed to break the World Record meatball consumption when he amazingly ate 50 meatballs weighing 6.25lbs in a staggering time of ten minutes. The competition was held at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and was labelled as a Major League Eating-sanctioned competition. The prize was pretty good as the winning amount of cash was 1500 US Dollars. Joey is quite an achiever in competitive eating contests, so the result wasn’t totally unexpected. In the past he has won competitions for eating chicken, hotdogs and pizzas!

The competition was a utensil only rule, which means no stuffing the meatballs in by hand! The six foot 218 lb Chestnut grabbed the title by just one ball as the second place was taken by Pat ‘deep dish’ Bertolli who consumed 49 of the meaty treats. A surprising outsider took the third place in the form of Sonya Thomas who weighed in at a flyweight of just 105 pounds but managed to eat 42 meatballs. She is certainly somebody to watch in future competitions, or maybe she was just hungry after her time playing poker!

She could always try playing poker at home. That way she could eat and play all day and night long. Rakeback, Full Tilt Rakeback and Pokerstars Rakeback are all games she could sign up to. Mind you I bet if she ate and played at home her weight wouldn’t stay at just 105 pounds for long!
